Who is responsible for your data

What we collect and why
- Your name and email. You type them into the free tool. We use them to send you your result and, if you agree, our emails. Basis: your consent. Kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Your seven slider answers and your result level. From the free tool. Used to calculate and show your result, and to improve the tool. Basis: your consent. Kept for 24 months.
- Your written answers in the paid tool. Used to run the tool and to show your own entries back to you. Basis: performance of our contract with you. Kept for 24 months after your last entry.
- Your 21 daily entries. Same purpose, same basis, same retention.
- Payment and billing details. Collected by PayPal, not by us. We never see or store your card details.
- Technical data such as IP address, device and browser. Collected automatically when you visit, for security and basic statistics. Basis: our legitimate interest. Kept for 12 months.
Sensitive answers
Some of what you write in the paid tool describes how you feel: exhaustion, fear, pressure. We treat this as sensitive. We ask for your explicit consent before the paid tool starts, we do not use these entries for anything other than showing them back to you, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to support@litalshahar.com. We will then delete them.
Automated scoring
The free tool calculates a result level from your seven answers. This is automatic. It is not a diagnosis, no person reviews it, and it has no legal or similarly significant effect on you. You can ask us for a human explanation at any time.
Where your data is stored
On Cloudflare infrastructure (Cloudflare Pages and the Cloudflare D1 database). Cloudflare processes data in several countries; transfers out of the EEA and the UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses. Some of your entries are also saved inside your own browser so the tool works without a connection. That copy stays on your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to another service. You may object to processing that is based on our legitimate interest. Where we rely on your consent you may withdraw it at any time, which does not affect what we did before you withdrew it. Write to support@litalshahar.com. We answer within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are in the EU or the EEA you may complain to your national data protection authority. In the UK, to the Information Commissioner's Office. In Israel, to the Privacy Protection Authority.
Do you have to give us your data
Giving your name and email in the free tool is voluntary, but without them we cannot send you your result. In the paid tool your entries are the material the tool works on; without them it has nothing to show you.
Children
The tools are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored in an access-controlled database. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version.
